In a classic photo from around 1975, here I am posing with my longtime friend Reuben Cain. Reuben would later find success under the name of Robert Gibson, one-half of the tag-team known as The Rock and Roll Express. I was in The Air Force at this time and wrestling when I could, and Reuben was preparing to have his first professional match.
